Two years ago tomorrow(June 6th) I got the positive pregnancy test that changed my life. Two years later I can sit here and tell you it was the best change that ever happened to me.
Alyssa is the light of both her dad and my life. She can make you smile by just looking at you. Before her I would have never imagined being okay with waking up at 5:22 on a Saturday morning. (now I will be honest I was not thrilled to be up at 5:22.) But when I brought her into bed with us and she curled up next to me and kept reaching out to make her daddy look at her, then started "talking to us" there was no way not to smile.
