Our night out was great. First we went shopping for a new couch. We spent about 2 hours in the store. We picked out stuff we liked, then waited and waited for the guy that had introduced himself to us ( he was making another sale) Finally we just asked another guy to help us. He answered all our questions, then told us the totals for what we were looking for. We thanked him and left with the total to talk about.
The whole way to dinner we had to talk do we want a fence or furniture. Our final choice was to make a budget, Chris figure out a deck configuration and us get a quote on a fence. Then we will make the choice.
Dinner was wonderful. I love the melting pot. Their cheese is to die for. The main meal is good and the dessert is like going to heaven. It took us 2 and a half hours to eat dinner. We then went to on of our favorite burrito places to get lunch for Sunday, then home we came.
As much of both of us enjoyed our night out without Alyssa we were happy to come home to her. We really didn't talk about her all that much while we were out either, which was kind of surprising.
Now we have a busy week of decision making ending in what do to for memorial day weekend. Do we stay home or go to the lake?
Well that picture sure is a throwback to the good ol days! Sounds like you guys had a good Anniversary. Can't believe it's been five years!!! Congrats!
